Cesare. [Bugger is it still unusual to refer to a stranger so familiarly.] This is Walter Dornez. I managed to talk a bloke into getting me a set of radio transceivers. I've been talked into some sort of baking activity tonight, but I don't have anything specific to do after that. Let me know when you're free and we can arrange a time for me to show you how they work. And how they can be made to form a communication network.

["Your Eminence" might not go along with Walter so well if he were to ever discover the meaning behind it, being that his organization has something of a rivalry with the Vatican's counterpart organization in his particular reality. And they did technically leave their own flock to the slaughter in his time ~~in more ways than one, though he isn't fully aware of that~~. So, no, he really doesn't have any respect for the Catholic Church.]

people who were nice to me even though i was obviously a tourist! and also i was shopping for stuff and my hands were full so i dropped stuff like probably 174 times and sometimes people helped me grab it
